Allison Williams
Allison Howell Williams (born April 13, 1988) was an American producer and actor. She has been called an "horror queen" by media outlets for her work in horror films. Between 2012 and 2017, she played as Marnie Micheals in HBO's drama-comedy show Girls. They nominated her for a Critics' Choice Award. In 2017, she was nominated at both the MTV Movie Awards as well as the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her performance in Get Out, starring Rose Armitage earned her a breakthrough. She went on to star in the films of horror, The Perfection (2018) and M3GAN (2022) The latter of which she executive produced. Williams was raised and born in New Canaan (Connecticut), the daughter of ex-NBC Nightly news host and managing Editor Brian Williams, and television producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. There is also an older brother. Williams was a student at New Canaan Country School, as well as Greenwich Academy. She attended Yale University, majoring in English. She also was a part members of St. Elmo and Morse College secret societies. As a student in New Canaan, Williams worked in the Ralph Lauren outlet store. Williams was a four-year member of Just Add Water, which is an comedy troupe. Williams also appeared in College Musical on YouTube. Sam Tsui was featured in the film that Kurt Hugo Schneider directed. Both graduated from Yale. She graduated with a bachelor's in English from Yale in 2010.
