Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. She survived on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to supplement her budget. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance when compared with her peers and she pondered what alternative path she might follow. Lennox played the flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. She left the band before the band went on I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop group. That was also where she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox went on to record her solo debut album Diva. This came out in 1992. This album became a huge success as well as selling and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October 2014. This C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs favorite soul jazz and blues tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. This E.P. She released her first solo album along with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a singer. After a brief successes as a part of the band called The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the pop duo Eurythmics during the 1980s. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva produced many successful songs like Why, the World is Broken Glass.
